When a Person Has Anemia

Causes and Symptoms of AnemiaIn normal conditions, grains of red blood contain hemoglobin, the red blood cells which carry oxygen and duty nutrients to the brain and into various tissues and organs of the body.
When a person has anemia, the number of red blood cells as a whole or the amount of hemoglobin in red blood decreases. These conditions affect the decreased ability of red blood cells carry oxygen and nutrients throughout the body. As a result, the body not getting enough oxygen, which causes the body limp and tired.

  • Causes anemia

• • the main causes of a person experiencing anemia, is iron deficiency. This condition does not occur suddenly, but through several stages. At first, the deposits of iron in the body decreases, to reduce the production of hemoglobin and red blood cells slowly.
• • In children, anemia due to hookworm infection, malaria, or dysentery which caused a severe blood shortage.
In addition to iron deficiency, there are still 2 more types of anemia that often occurs in children:
1. Aplastic anemia occurs when the cells that produce red blood grains (in the spinal cord) are not functioning properly. This may occur because of viral infection, radiation, chemotherapy, or as a result of the use of certain drugs.
2. Haemolytic anemia, which occurs when red blood cells were destroyed early, more quickly than the body’s ability to update it. The cause of haemolytic anemia is a variety, can be inherited like sickle cell anemia thalasemia. In other cases, such as a reaction to an infection or certain drugs, red blood cells destroyed by the antibodies the body.

  • Anemia Symptoms

• Fatigue, tired easily when exercising, difficult concentration, or easily forgotten.
• Color of skin and the whites of the eye cornea look yellowish, and bone pain.
