The Most Common Gynecological

One reason for consultation is the most common gynecological referral for menstrual disorders. For they worry girls, women of reproductive age and those close to menopause.

In some, the fear of possible pregnancy, which disturbs, in others the amount, irregular cycles or pain. Many have suffered needlessly the consequences of these alterations have not decided to make a timely visit to the gynecologist.

Classification of Menstrual Disorders

# Disorders Tempo or Regularity

* Menorrhagia. The cycles are very short and very frequent menses (every 21 days or less).
* Qligomenorrea: The cycles are very long and infrequent menses (every 35 days or more).
* Amenorrhea Menstruation missing for more than three months. This division appears that normal menstrual cycles are those with longer duration than 21 days and under 35, and the most common for periods occur every 28 or 30 days.

# Disorders “Quantum” or Amount

* Nipermenorrea. The periods are longer or large quantity (more than 7 days or more dressing changes require 4 to 6 times a day).
* Hypomenorrhea. The periods are too short or small amounts (less than 3 days or require a change of only one or two pads per day).
